Does anyone have any ideas for new sections of this forum? Seeing it's a free forum, I know from the past that file sharing of any kind is not allowed. And neither is nudity or porn images  And I really only created this forum so we could have serious discussions here any way so. None of that will be happening here. |

I would suggest, to begin, a rough distinction between these topics:
Police
Protests
War
Religion
Elections (subdivided by nation)
Anyone care so suggest more strands?

Alexora, I like the suggestions you gave. But I think I will wait for a little while, to see how this place evolves ( grows ) Because at this point, I don't think making sections of distinction is necessary yet  Wouldn't you agree? I actually thought of a totally new section we could add. Economy, as in business & banking. I'm pretty sure those could be some pretty Hot Topic subjects. lol I would suggest, to begin, a rough distinction between these topics: Police Protests War Religion Elections (subdivided by nation) Anyone care so suggest more strands? |

A chaos section ?
Where people can post anything from pictures to videos to links to whatever they want, rant about the color of the moon between two shits that have nothing to do with the rest... As long as it's not unlawfull/armfull
Because general discussion stands for discussion, not for dumping random things

In programming, there's something called the switch
It works like that:
First, I have a variable, called "myNumber":
var myNumber = 0;
Then, you can call the switch on it, like that:
switch(myNumber) {
case 0: doSomething(); break;
case 1: doSomethingElse(); break;
case 2: doNothing(); break;
}
If the variable myNumber has its value changed from 0 to 1 or 2, it will execute the function associated with it
But, what if myNumber has a value that is not 0, 1 or 2 ?
That's when "default" comes into play, like that:
switch(myNumber) {
case 0: doSomething(); break;
case 1: doSomethingElse(); break;
case 2: doNothing(); break;
default: doSomeSpecialThing(); break;
}
If myNumber has a value that is not 0, 1 or 2, it will trigger "default"
The chaos section would be for anything that has not necessarily a discussion purpose
Could be youtube videos, images, word games, etc ...
Like the trunk of a car
...
You could call it with a fancy name...
like...

Take a look at other forums that have political sections. See what works there. i.e.: topics that draw traffic.
